Community Garden Helps Grow Food and Community!
Mount Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church of University Place, has launched their new community Garden. Members who rent a plot are able to grow any type of produce they wish, the only thing required of them is a percentage of their harvest is to be donated to the U.P. Food Bank. What a blessing from this community. New photos are posted to the left of this article.
New Funding Helps Grow Family Support!
We have been awarded funding from the Community Resource Connection program through Associated Ministries in Tacoma.
This new funding will provide training and equipment to allow us to expand our families services programs.
