End of the Month Report: July 2019

Updated: Sep 4, 2019

It's crazy to think that we're on the other side of the summer now about to head into the Fall. We've been super busy here at FUN and want to share with you some of the amazing things we've accomplished this past month.

FOOD BANK

  • Total Households Served : 458 (12% increase from 2018)

  • New Families: 80 (14% increase from 2018)

  • Total Individuals Served: 1709 (7% increase from 2018)

  • Food Given to families (lbs.): 27,296

SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM

  • We have provided 1,171 meals thus far this summer.

REQUESTS FOR HELP

Requests for help represent the number of individuals requesting help on behalf of themselves or their families. Numbers are not duplicated, meaning if a family calls 4 times in one day they still only count as 1 in our statistical analysis. All requests recorded are for families that live within the 98466 & 98467 zip-codes.

  • Rent Assistance : 38

  • Utility Assistance: 19

  • Other: 20

VOLUNTEER HOURS

  • 174 Volunteers

  • 480.5 Hours of Volunteer Service

  • Valued at $12,219.00 (meaning we saved over $12,000 from payroll expenses thanks to the help of our volunteer community. Their support means that we can keep our operational costs low, while serving hundreds of families.)
