Ready to Volunteer?

We're excited that you want to get involved at Families Unlimited Network!

​

We are always looking for volunteers to help out with our Food Bank on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:30 - Noon, and from Noon - 2:30, and Saturdays 8:30 to noon.  We are also looking for volunteer to help with food pickups from local grocery stores Monday - Saturday from 8:30 - Noon. Give us a call at 253-460-3134 if you would like to help!

   

To get things started you can fill out our online form to tell us a little more about yourself, what you're interested in, and what your availability is. Once you fill out the form it will take up to 48 hours for us to respond. 

Community Service Volunteering

​Community service volunteers who meet all requirements are welcome. 

  • Pass a Washington State Patrol background check.

  • Meet age requirements. Minimum age is 7. Ages 7 to 15 must have adult supervision.

  • A minimum of 30 hours commitment (even if the court mandate or school requirement is less).

Please note, community service volunteers must commit to a minimum of 30 hours (even if the court mandate or school requirement is less) and should have at least 2 months before your hours are due.

Group Volunteering

  • Age requirements:

    • All groups with volunteers 15 and under must have at least two adults with them, regardless of their size. The minimum age to volunteer is 7 years old.

 

Most of our volunteer opportunities occur Tuesday – Saturday.

All FUN volunteers are placed based on the individual or group's availability and FUN's needs.

Volunteer E-Mailing List

Join our growing mailing list specifically for Volunteers! We know that our volunteers help us reach more families more efficiently in our community, to get involved and stay up to date on special events or our often times, evolving needs sign up for our mailing list. Even if you're not able to volunteer regularly this is the perfect opportunity to know what's going on! We can't do it without you!
