Holiday Assistance: Preserving the Joy of the Season

The Mission: Ensuring that financial hardship does not define a child’s holiday experience or a family’s peace of mind.

The holiday season should be a time of connection, reflection, and peace. However, for many families in our community, already stretched thin by the rising costs of housing and groceries, the added expectations of the holidays can be overwhelming.
At Families Unlimited Network, we believe that every child deserves the magic of the season and every parent deserves the dignity of providing for their family without sacrificing their utility or rent payments. Our Holiday Assistance programs are designed to alleviate that burden, ensuring that the spirit of the season reaches every home in our network.
Our Holiday Support Programs
We provide a dual-layered approach to holiday support, focusing on both nutritional stability and the joy of childhood.
-
Holiday Food Support: We provide complete holiday meal components so that families can gather around their own tables to share a traditional, nutritious festive meal.
-
Children's Gift Program: To ensure no child is overlooked, we provide high-quality, age-appropriate gifts. Our goal is to empower parents and guardians by providing the resources they need to make the holidays special for their little ones.
Dignity-First Assistance
We understand that asking for help during the holidays can be difficult. Our program is rooted in respect and confidentiality.
-
Who We Serve: Assistance is prioritized for families within our immediate service area (University Place and Pierce County) who are currently navigating financial instability.
-
The Process: We strive to make the registration and distribution process as seamless and discreet as possible, allowing parents to be the heroes of their own holiday stories.
How You Can Help
The success of our holiday programs depends entirely on the collective heart of our community. When you support our holiday initiative, you aren't just buying a toy or a turkey—you are gifting a family the ability to breathe easier.
-
Sponsor a Family: Provide a complete holiday experience for a local household.
-
Host a Toy or Food Drive: Organize your office, faith group, or neighborhood to collect the items we need most.
-
Financial Contributions: Monetary donations help us fill gaps within specific age groups and ensure every family receives equitable support.
