Food

When a family doesn't have enough food, stability in other areas is impossible. Families Unlimited Network's Food Assistance program offers a safe and welcoming environment where you will be able to get fresh, healthy food – including fresh produce, meat, bread, soup, pasta, peanut butter, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, beans, tuna and refrigerated dairy items. Once registered, you will be able to visit our food bank twice a month. The amount of food you will be able to receive will be based on the size of your family. We also have a number of other food programs designed for youth hunger.

Families Unlimited Network, in partnership with several community groups and the University Place School District launched a weekend meal program for students in University Place who receive free and reduced lunch during the week can continue receiving meals during the weekends.

Families Unlimited Network delivers pre-filled bags that contain easy to make meals along with snacks and other items that youth will be able to make on their own or with the help of their guardians every week. Bags are discretely delivered to counselors who then distribute them to students.

If you are interested in registering your student for this program please contact your local counselor at any University Place School.
